​lost & found is a site-specific work primarily developed during the spring of 2023, though it is the culmination of a prolonged engagement with the region I called home for two years. Throughout that time, I visited the selected area regularly, attentively observing the many variations—sometimes subtle, sometimes striking—that the landscape underwent over time, while carefully noting how my perception gradually adapted to the environment.

Eventually, I felt compelled to interact more actively with the diverse materials and forces naturally present at the sites. For this, I primarily used my bare hands, occasionally employing simple tools—a small ax and a hand shovel—to clear the ground or break materials into smaller parts, always respecting clear boundaries: no trees were felled, and only wood already available on site was used.

As manual labor intersected with seasonal changes, a series of structures and perceptual arrangements began to emerge, where the productive interplay between found materials and artistic intervention can hopefully be discerned by an attentive eye. While most of these works have proven relatively sturdy, they remain subject to natural deterioration and may eventually disintegrate completely.

​The two sites, though separated by a short distance, differ greatly in their characteristics—including vegetation, sunlight exposure, and atmosphere—offering distinctly contrasting experiences. Documentation includes photographs taken at various times, alongside field recordings that capture not only natural sounds (birds, wind, water) but also a range of activities performed at the sites, where work and leisure intermingle.
